🕊️My Thought for Today 🕊️
About a month ago, I shared the image below intended to spark a necessary, public conversation about the inhumane loss of innocent lives in Palestine and Lebanon. My goal wasn't to offend—it was to invite reflection, dialogue, and collective conscience.
Instead of engaging with the message, I was met with personal attacks, deflection, and silence.
When criticism of state violence is dismissed as "disrespect," it tells me more about the defensiveness of the response than the intent of the question.
This morning, I woke to videos showing that the killings continue—despite talk of ceasefires. Innocent people are still suffering. Families are still grieving.
So I ask gently, but firmly: If not now, when do we pause to witness?
If not this image, what symbol would make the urgency undeniable?
I stand for all innocent life. I believe Black liberation and Palestinian liberation are connected through the universal demand for dignity, justice, and the right to exist without fear.
Let's talk. Not to win. But to heal. #CeasefireNow #HumanityFirst #BlackAndBrownSolidarity #SpeakTruth #JusticeForPalestine #Blaqsbi #CashbackInvestGlobal
  • Yo, @Tyrone Thomas! 😊 I feel you, bruh. As someone who's been in your shoes, I know how hard it is to keep pushing forward...
