MY BESTFRIEND PAID ME TO SLEEP WITH HER HUSBAND

The offer came on an ordinary Tuesday afternoon. My best friend sat across from me at our usual café, but the words she spoke were anything but ordinary. She had met someone new—a wealthy, promising man who offered her the future she'd always dreamed of. There was just one obstacle: her current husband.

She couldn't simply ask for a divorce. In our community, that would brand her as the villain. She needed leverage. She needed to be the victim.

"I need you to help me create evidence," she said, her voice low and steady. "I'll pay you well. More than enough to solve your financial problems."

Her plan was coldly precise. She would take a "business trip." I would use the key she provided to enter her home, ensuring the neighbors saw me. I would play the part of the mistress, creating the perfect scenario for her to file for divorce with the upper hand.

The night arrived, heavy with unspoken guilt. I let myself into their quiet home. Her husband was in the living room, reading. He looked up, surprised but not angry.

""What are you doing here? Is everything alright?"

He stood up, genuine concern in his eyes. He offered me a drink, asked if I needed to talk about anything. This was a man who had always treated me like family—who had helped me move apartments, who remembered my birthday every year.

I tried to stick to the script, to flirt lightly, but the words caught in my throat. How could I betray this man who was looking at me with nothing but kindness? The money she promised meant nothing in that moment.

"I'm sorry," I whispered, my voice breaking. "I shouldn't be here."

I fled, leaving him standing there, confused and concerned for my well-being.

When I called my friend to tell her I couldn't go through with it, her warmth vanished. "You've ruined everything," she hissed. "I thought I could count on you."

Our friendship, built over a decade of shared secrets and dreams, ended in that moment. She eventually left her husband anyway, using a different excuse, but the damage was done.

I often think about that night. The money would have changed my life, but it would have cost me my self-respect. Some prices are too high to pay, no matter how attractive the reward may seem. #fbreelsfypシ゚viralfbreelsfypシ゚viral #fblifestyle #fypシ゚viralシfypシ゚
