Hazrat Muhammad ﷺ emphasized that all people are equal regardless of race, color, or ethnicity. One of the most famous statements comes from his Farewell Sermon:

"No Arab has superiority over a non-Arab, nor does a non-Arab have superiority over an Arab. A white person has no superiority over a black person, nor does a black person have superiority over a white person—except by piety (taqwa) and good deeds."

This teaching highlights that:

All human beings are equal in dignity.
Race and skin color do not make a person better or worse.
The true measure of a person is their character, righteousness, and actions.

The Qur'an also teaches:

"O mankind! Indeed, We created you from a male and a female and made you into peoples and tribes so that you may know one another. Indeed, the most honored of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you." (Qur'an 49:13)

Another important example is Bilal ibn Rabah, a Black companion of the Prophet ﷺ. He was highly respected and chosen as the first Mu'adhdhin (caller to prayer), demonstrating Islam's rejection of racial discrimination.

In summary, the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught that black and white people are equal before Allah, and that virtue comes from faith, character, and good deeds—not race or color. @kamal uddin khan @Thadmin @Sophia Goldberg #BlackLivesMatter
